We are now seeking an Architect to join our team based in Dubai.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in architectural design and spatial planning for data center projects, ensuring effective use of space and compliance with industry standards.
  • Support design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with NFPA and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, data center operators, and project teams to understand requirements and contribute to innovative design solutions.
  • Contribute to spatial planning, including rack layouts, aisle containment, and airflow management.
  • Create and review architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for data center projects.
  • Coordinate with MEP, structural engineers, and IT specialists to integrate technical requirements into design.
  • Use AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D rendering software to produce design visualizations and presentations.
  • Conduct site assessments and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in data center design.
  • Prepare design proposals, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior team members and leadership.
  • Support consultancy activities such as audits and best practice recommendations for data centers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address complex client requirements and project needs.


Candidate Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray) for creating detailed designs.
  • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel for project documentation and presentations.
  • Solid understanding of Uptime Tiers & TIA 942-C standards and how they influence data center design.
  • Knowledgeable in NFPA or equivalent Fire Code requirements and their application to data center construction and operations.
  • Experience working with MEP systems, IT infrastructure, and equipment specifications in the context of data centers.
  • Practical experience incorporating sustainable design principles, LEED accreditation, and energy efficiency strategies into data center projects.
  • Excellent work ethic and proactive individual.
  • Committed to continuous learning and driven by curiosity.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Excellent English skills -written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel in the region.
