Reports to: CEO / TBD
Lead customer-facing programs across IT modernization, platform migrations, security uplift, and operational improvement. Build the governance, cadence, and reporting that make delivery predictable across Calgary–India teams. You connect business goals to execution, keep everyone aligned, and land outcomes on time. This is a hands-on delivery role—you will personally run real projects and migrations — across a wide range of sizes and complexity — from planning through cutover and hypercare. Not a PMO‑only/process role.
- Own a portfolio of client programs end‑to‑end: scope, plan, timeline, budget, risk/dependency management, and change control; personally lead anchor projects and migrations of varying size and complexity with clear acceptance criteria, go/no‑go discipline, and operational handoff.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (architecture, engineering, service delivery, vendors) to unblock decisions and drive progress.
- Standardize delivery with simple playbooks, templates (charter, plan, RAID, change), status rhythms, and executive dashboards.
- Drive compliance readiness: coordinate ISO 27001 & SOC 2 workstreams, policies, evidence collection, auditor interactions, and remediation timelines.
- Run executive communications: steering committees, QBRs, clear status and decision logs; manage escalations and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage financials: estimates, burn tracking, forecasting, and margin guardrails.
- Strengthen handoffs to Operations: ensure support models, runbooks, and success criteria are in place before go‑live.
- 8+ years leading multi‑workstream technology programs in services/MSP/consulting environments.
- Proven record landing complex initiatives (migrations, infrastructure refresh, security uplift) with clear success criteria.
- Strong governance/PMO toolkit (RAID, dependency mapping, portfolio reporting) and experience driving ISO/SOC or similar compliance efforts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive‑level written/verbal communication.
- Nice to have: PMP/Prince2, CSM/ITIL, ISO 27001 Implementer/Auditor; experience coordinating Canada–India teams.
- ≥ 95% of key milestones delivered on time; schedule variance < 10%; budget variance < 5%.
- PMO basics adopted (templates/cadence/dashboards) with forecast accuracy ≥ 90%.
- ISO/SOC readiness milestones achieved to plan; evidence library maintained and audited.
- Client CSAT ≥ 4.5/5 and consistent QBR cadence with action closure ≥ 95%.
- Impactful, visible work with direct CEO sponsorship. You’ll shape how delivery runs company‑wide while shipping outcomes clients feel.
