Title: GO Backend Engineer

Location: Canada/ US remote

Duration: 6+ Months extendable

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services .
• Develop APIs and systems that handle millions of requests daily, ensuring low latency and high availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and data scientists, to deliver impactful features.
• Optimize system performance and scalability to support our growing user base.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring timely resolutions and system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Work with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and propose innovative solutions for improving our platform.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with databases (both SQL and NoSQL) and caching solutions like PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, efficient code.
• Contractors will assist with the client's Wallet backend development.
• Candidates must be proficient in Go language.
• Candidates should have experience as users of non-custodial crypto wallets such as Phantom, or Metamask.
• Ideally, candidates have experience working with blockchain APIs like Alchemy and CoinGecko.
• Preferably worked on blockchain related products before. Example: OKX, Phantom etc.
