Job Title: TTC System Admin

Location: Al-Udeid AFB, Qatar

Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret

Required Certification(s)

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and
  • Citrix Certified Associate -Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified
  • Associate -Networking (CCA-N), or equivalent certification; and
  • Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions Trusted Thin Client
  • Administrator Training Course completed

Summary

The government currently utilizes the Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client solution for its multi-level security computing and networking environment. This role shall perform system administration support tasks and activities.

Forcepoint Trusted Thin Client cross domain multilevel security solution - 6 Networks (NIPR; SIPR; CSD; CX-SWA; Blacknet, TTCWeb) - 183 Servers (DHCP, Distribution Consoles, Zone Data Collectors, Provisioning Services) - 3000+ users - 2000+ devices (HP) - 475 office automation and C4I applications - MS Windows OS - Redhat Linux OS - VMware - VMware vSphere - VMware vSwitch - Citrix - Citrix XenApp - Citrix NetScaler - Cisco IOS - Cisco Nexus - Cisco UCS - NetApp - SQL

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Will need to support:
  • DHCP, Print Servers, GPOS, STIGs, and Permissions
  • SCCM and patch deployment
  • Systems Engineering
  • VMWare, vCenter, VDI, Horizon, etc. via troubleshooting and resolving VMWare environment issues, designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and template management, managing a VXRail environment, and deploying VMWare patches
  • Powershell and Power CLI
  • NetApp OCSM, Snapmirror, and NetApp best practices
  • CISCO UCS, service profiles, and firmware updates

Qualifications

Required Certifications

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and
  • Citrix Certified Associate -Virtualization (CCA-V) or Citrix Certified
  • Associate -Networking (CCA-N), or equivalent certification; and
  • Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions Trusted Thin Client
  • Administrator Training Course completed

Education, Background, And Years Of Experience

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 4+ years’ work experience; or
  • - 6+ years' experience;

WORKING CONDITIONS

Environmental Conditions

  • Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands

  • Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
