The Database Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our applications and services. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and security while optimizing database performance for MyDHL+ and other related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with application developers to optimize database performance and ensure seamless integration with applications.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate measures and best practices.
- Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and backups to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database management and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Oracle database tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Hybrid work arrangements to balance in-office collaboration and home flexibility.
