Job Description
The Program Manager will leverage their experience in program management, effective communication, relationship building skills, and analytical abilities to support LinkedIn India Legal and Public Policy team. The Program Manager will manage end-to-end legal and policy operations, spanning litigation, regulatory and governance support, budgeting, vendor processes, stakeholder engagement, and executive visits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide paralegal support on litigation and regulatory matters, including coordination with external counsel.
- Track and route legal notices to ensure timely stakeholder response.
- Support corporate governance processes, including preparation and filing of board documents, coordination of signatures, and compliance with governance requirements.
- Manage matter tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams and Legal Operations on billing, budgets, and invoice tracking.
- Support onboarding of new vendors and law firms, including contract workflows and compliance reviews.
- Manage public policy budgets, including forecasting, accruals, invoices
- Oversee vendor engagements for public policy activities, including onboarding, contracts, and coordination with Accounts Payable.
- Coordinate with external consultants, think tanks, and industry associations on campaigns and engagements.
- Support development of materials, event management, and logistics for campaigns and external initiatives.
- Plan and manage logistics, briefing documents, and schedules for executive visits to India
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in program management, legal operations, paralegal support, public policy program management
- Experience in organizational, communication, presentation, and client-service skills
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Proficiency with legal tools (e.g., LawVu) and financial systems.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to travel domestically
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to present data in an effective, actionable manner.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams .
- Calm under pressure; ability to not only think creatively during crisis moments but also to bring new ideas to drive innovative solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with C-suite executives and senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, discretion, and professional judgment in handling sensitive matters.
