About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to support our SAFe transformation journey and help embed Lean-Agile practices across our teams. The Agile Coach will play a crucial role in guiding teams, coaching leaders, mentoring Scrum Masters and Product Owners, and creating a culture of continuous improvement within the transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Coaching & Enablement
- Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders on Agile mindset, practices, and SAFe roles.
- Mentor teams on effective facilitation of ceremonies (PI Planning, Daily Standups, Iteration Planning, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt).
- Support leadership in adopting Lean-Agile principles to improve predictability, collaboration, and business outcomes.
- Partner with Release Train Engineer (RTE) and SPC to accelerate transformation outcomes.
- Guide multiple Agile teams within the Agile Release Train (ART) to high performance and alignment.
- Facilitate workshops and learning sessions on Agile practices, SAFe principles, and collaboration.
- Help teams adopt practices for backlog refinement, prioritization, estimation, and dependency management.
- Foster cross-team collaboration within ARTs and across value streams.
- Assist in embedding SAFe practices in day-to-day work while driving incremental change.
- Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, feedback loops, and metrics-driven insights.
- Champion servant leadership and psychological safety within teams.
- Support collection and analysis of Agile and ART performance metrics (velocity, predictability, quality).
- Help leaders and teams use metrics to drive improvement without creating a command-and-control culture.
- Certification: SAFe Agile Coach (SPC is a plus but not mandatory), ICP-ACC or equivalent Agile coaching certification.
- Experience: 7+ years in Agile delivery, with 3+ years as an Agile Coach supporting SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
- Proven coaching experience with Agile teams, leaders, and stakeholders in a transformation journey.
- Strong knowledge of the SAFe framework, Agile methodologies, Lean-Agile principles, and DevOps concepts.
- Tools expertise: Jira, Rally, or other ALM tools.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence across multiple stakeholder levels.
- Experience working in large-scale integration or transformation programs.
- Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, telecom).
- Additional certifications like RTE, Scrum@Scale, or ICAgile Coaching track.
