User Interface Designer

Digital Waffle
United Kingdom · Full-time · Mid-Senior

A fast-growing SaaS company at the forefront of cloud optimisation and governance is looking for a UI Product Designer to shape the next generation of its data-rich platform. Backed by private investment and entering a major growth phase, the business helps organisations bring clarity to complex cloud environments—delivering cost savings, tighter security, and smarter decision-making through powerful, insight-led tools.

This is not a mobile app design role - your focus will be on large-scale, desktop-first products where complex datasets need to be translated into clear, actionable experiences.

UI Product Designer – Data-Rich SaaS Platform

Location: UK-based – Fully Remote

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing

  • UX and UI design across core product areas—owning research, wireframes, prototyping, and testing
  • Design intuitive, data-heavy dashboards, visualisations, and workflows that make technical information understandable at a glance
  • Maintain and evolve the company’s design system to ensure consistency across all interfaces
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to turn technical capabilities into user-friendly solutions
  • Conduct user research to validate ideas, uncover friction points, and improve engagement with complex data sets
  • Take part in design reviews, offering constructive feedback and raising the quality bar across the team

What they’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in product design, with a portfolio highlighting data-driven or technical interfaces (analytics tools, dashboards, enterprise SaaS)
  • Deep Figma expertise, including design systems and advanced prototyping
  • Skilled in visualising complex data to support fast, informed decision-making
  • Experience running and applying user research and usability testing
  • Confident communicator able to work effectively with globally distributed teams
  • Highly organised with a detail-first mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging assumptions to improve the user experience

What’s on offer

  • Fully remote working with flexible hours
  • Direct influence over product direction and the design function itself
  • A collaborative, globally distributed team of engineers, product specialists, and domain experts
  • Competitive salary and benefits package tailored to your location
  • Flexible paid time off and a genuine focus on work-life balance
  • Support for learning, mentorship, and career development
  • Occasional international travel for workshops and team meet-ups (expenses covered)

If you thrive on turning complexity into clarity and want to work on products where data is the heart of the experience, this could be the perfect move.
