We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a long-term transformation programme for a major Central & Eastern European bank. The project involves complex, multi-year initiatives across regulatory, operational, and technology domains, offering the opportunity to work within a high-impact and stable environment.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery within the bank’s transformation programme.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and reporting in line with enterprise PMO standards.
- Ensure governance and compliance with internal banking processes.
- Collaborate closely with senior management, vendors, and cross-border teams.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, ideally in regulated industries.
- At least 8 years within banking or financial services, preferably covering large-scale transformation or integration programmes.
- Proven track record managing multi-year, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent German (mandatory) and good English communication skills.
- The project is located in Austria (outside Vienna).
- Long-term engagement (2–5 years).
