Digital Solutions Software Developer

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development and maintenance of software applications across onboard systems, PC environments, and cloud platforms (multiple domains)
• Contribute to the development of customer-facing applications (Digital Solutions)
• Implement software features and components based on established architecture and design specifications
• Collaborate with the team members to integrate onboard and cloud systems into unified solutions
• Assist in building backend services, data pipelines – onboard vs. cloud infrastructure
• Support database operations and data processing/ analytics tasks
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Follow agile development practices and contribute to sprint planning
• Ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across multiple software platforms/ domains
• Support in software integration and testing processes
• Support and contribute continuous improvement of development practices and tools
• Engage in continuous learning across technologies and domains
  
  

Required Skills/ Experience

• Programming languages: proficiency in one or more (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Java)
• Understanding of system-level interactions between onboard applications, cloud services, and user interfaces
• Data Handling: understanding of databases, data structures, and data transfer protocols
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectures (e.g. microservices, messaging frameworks)
• Version control: Experience using Git in collaborative development environments
• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum)
  
  

Desired Skills/ Experience

• Experience working with multi-platform applications (e.g., desktop, web, mobile)
• Cloud technologies: some knowledge of cloud solutions/ services
• Frontend development: exposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or similar)
• Familiarity/ experience with data pipelines and cloud-based data processing
• Experience in data analytics (E.g. machine learning)
  
  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Position is permanent and full-time and open both internally and externally. Starting date will be agreed separately. Salary is according to the salary grade, considering your experience.
