Data Engineer Responsibilities

• AI Pricing POC Development: Build a large language model (LLM) using historic data to enable predictive pricing.
• Independent Execution: Take ownership of the end-to-end development of the POC, working within a tight three-week timeframe.
• Collaboration: Partner with a Business Analyst/Delivery Manager to shape requirements, engage with stakeholders, and prepare the final presentation.
• Model Presentation: Deliver actionable insights and findings to the leadership team through clear, concise reporting.

Data Engineer Requirements

Essential:

• Strong experience in data engineering and working with AI/ML technologies. Ideally Python / Node.js.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver POC projects within short timelines.
• Proficiency in building and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
• Solid understanding of data extraction, preparation, and processing for predictive modeling.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

• Experience with pricing models or similar predictive AI use cases.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks commonly used for AI/ML development (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Background in presenting technical findings to leadership or stakeholders.
