Onchain Operations Manager (Remote EU - Hub is in Berlin) - Freelance

About The Role

We’re looking for an Onchain Operations Manager to own and optimize our client’s crypto operational core bridging investment execution, liquidity management, and onchain treasury activities.

You’ll collaborate closely with our product, finance, and investment teams to operationalize new products, orchestrate wallet transactions, and manage token lifecycle activities.

This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and passionate about the intersection of blockchain operations and institutional asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily onchain operations, including subscription and redemption processing, price reporting, and token transfers.
• Operate and enhance MPC wallet systems, transaction approvals, and security policies for multi‑entity environments.
• Partner with finance and engineering teams to automate liquidity routing, balance monitoring, and transaction reporting.
• Support new token launches by setting up workflows for exchange listings, partner coordination, and post‑launch validation.
• Analyze wallet activity, treasury flows, and gas optimization strategies to ensure efficient fund movement.
• Maintain internal documentation for operational policies and procedures.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Informatics, or Engineering disciplines.
• 1–3 years in operations or treasury roles at a crypto, fintech, or trading company.
• Hands‑on experience using blockchain wallets or MPC solutions (Fireblocks, Safe, etc.).
• Familiarity with Etherscan, onchain analytics, or scripting basic blockchain data queries.
• Strong communication and organization skills; able to coordinate across legal, finance, and tech stakeholders.

• Experience at a crypto asset manager, fund administrator, or institutional DeFi project.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or BI tools for onchain data queries.
• German language proficiency.
• Knowledge of onchain yield, staking, or liquidity protocols.
