Are you passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered designs? Our Product Design team is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Product Design Intern. You'll work alongside experienced designers to help shape how millions of travelers interact with trivago's platform. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real projects while learning fundamental product design methods and skills in a supportive environment.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Demonstrates ideas in tangible formats such as sketches, prototypes, wireframes, and user interface designs
• Contribute to ideation workshops and collaborative design sessions
• Apply UX research methods to inform design decisions
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand user needs and technical considerations
• Help maintain our design system and participate in design review sessions
• Perform quality assurance checks of implemented designs
  
  
  

What you'll need to thrive:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Good understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies
• Solid Figma skills
• Ability to visualize and communicate ideas through sketches, wireframes, and basic prototypes
• Eagerness to learn and grow as a designer in a collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills and receptiveness to feedback
• Availability for a full-time 6-month internship, and a valid German work visa
