Security Manager | Major Capital Programme

Frankfurt, Germany | Long-Term Contract

ENG Bauen is supporting the delivery of a major industrial investment programme in Western Germany, focused on advanced manufacturing and next-generation process technologies.

We are seeking a Security Manager to join the site-based delivery team, responsible for establishing and managing the full security framework for a major greenfield construction project.

This role is central to maintaining the integrity of the site, workforce, and assets throughout the construction and commissioning phases. The successful candidate will bring a proven background in professional security management and the ability to integrate with logistics, construction, and emergency response functions on a complex, multi-stakeholder programme.

The position offers a long-term contract running through 2027 and represents an opportunity to play a key role in one of Europe’s most advanced industrial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the site security management plan across all phases of construction.
• Oversee gate access, credentialing, and visitor control for personnel, vehicles, and suppliers.
• Manage guarding operations, patrols, CCTV monitoring, and asset protection measures.
• Coordinate emergency response and incident management, liaising with local authorities.
• Audit and supervise third-party security service providers to ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
• Work alongside logistics and expediting teams to secure deliveries, laydown areas, and high-value materials.
• Produce regular reports, incident summaries, and improvement actions in line with site governance.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 10 years’ professional security experience, including 3+ years in a management role.
• Background in police, military, or professional security operations.
• Accredited security qualification (SIA licence, Security Management BA/MSc, or equivalent).
• Experience on large industrial or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of emergency response coordination and site access control systems.
• Fluent in English; German language skills advantageous.
• Eligible to work in the EU
• Strong experience working within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical sector
