Senior DevOps Engineer

I have a brand new Senior DevOps Engineer position with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This role would be a permanent and hybrid position paying €75k - 80k. You will be required to be onsite 1 week per month (3 weeks fully remote).

Core Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with AWS in live production environments.
• Managing and maintaining Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in multi-region setups.
• Experience creating and deploying Helm charts & libraries.
• Migrating workloads from ECS and running production services.
• Creating and deploying charts and reusable libraries.
• Authoring declarative CI/CD pipelines and shared libraries.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent platforms.
• CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk Cloud et.
• Automating tasks and troubleshooting systems.
• Managing access across large AWS environments.
• Terraform for provisioning and configuration.
• Python for scripting and automation.
• Git for distributed code management.
• Familiarity with Akamai for content delivery optimization.
