We are seeking an experienced and inquisitive Business Analyst to join a high-performing Clinical Applications team supporting the delivery of strategic technology solutions that enable global clinical trials. The team operates in an established environment delivering ongoing BAU and new project initiatives, with a strong focus on delivering real business outcomes through effective requirements management and collaboration across distributed teams.

This role suits a self-driven, outcomes-focused BA who thrives in an Agile development setting, enjoys challenging assumptions constructively, and bridges business and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage requirements elicitation, documentation, and solution design across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders globally to understand needs, define priorities, and validate solutions.

  • Work closely with technical teams (primarily based in India) to ensure clarity, feasibility, and completeness of requirements.

  • Drive functional and non-functional requirements through the full delivery lifecycle.

  • Challenge stakeholder assumptions based on facts and best practice to ensure optimal solutions.

  • Act as the liaison between product owners, business users, and developers within an Agile framework.

  • Use Jira (and similar tools) to manage user stories, backlogs, and sprint deliverables.

  • Support implementation of new features and enhancements to existing clinical applications.

  • Maintain clear communication across globally distributed teams (US, EU, Asia).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or Agile delivery environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge and pre-empt business needs.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple streams of work and drive delivery independently.

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.

  • Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to Have

  • Background or exposure to development or technical environments.

  • Understanding of AWS or cloud-based ecosystems.

  • Experience delivering within life-sciences, pharma, or regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with data-driven or systems-integration projects.

Personal Attributes

  • Curious, proactive, and collaborative.

  • Comfortable operating autonomously while maintaining strong cross-team alignment.

  • Outcome-oriented and pragmatic - able to "get things done."

  • Values clarity, accountability, and continuous improvement
