A dynamic small-to-medium sized consultancy specializing in the construction phase of pharmaceutical projects. We work with leading global pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer and Takeda, delivering high-quality construction management services across multiple projects throughout Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of multiple pharmaceutical construction projects, primarily located in and around Dublin. This is a senior leadership position where you will oversee project teams and act as the primary point of contact for our prestigious client base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple pharmaceutical projects from inception to completion
• Lead and manage various project teams and personnel across concurrent projects
• Ensure full compliance with all Health and Safety standards and regulations
• Manage onsite supply chains, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications
• Represent the client at all project meetings, building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Develop, monitor, and manage project programs to ensure timely progress and successful completion
• Navigate and manage the tendering process for pharmaceutical construction projects
• Troubleshoot issues with subcontractors and ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Coordinate effectively across various departments to ensure efficient project execution
• Manage both mechanical and electrical aspects of pharmaceutical construction projects

Experience & Background:

• Proven track record in project management within the construction industry
• Demonstrable experience working on projects in Ireland
• Familiarity with the tendering process in the construction sector
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical project requirements and controlled environments

• Excellent communication abilities - both written and verbal
• Proficient in managing budgets, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure

Desirable:

• Experience in controlled environments, cleanrooms, or GMP facilities
• Background in data center or pharmaceutical construction projects
• Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems in construction
