Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
- Some relevant experience and a third-level degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in AI, data engineering, or data analytics, including programming skills in Python or R and data analysis using SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and a strong eagerness to develop expertise in these environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn), experience with large datasets and distributed computing tools like Hadoop or Spark, and knowledge of Large Language Models and prompt engineering practices.
- Effectively engage with clients to gather and analyse business requirements, identifying AI and data-driven opportunities that align with their strategic goals.
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI, data analytics, and engineering solutions that meet client needs and deliver measurable impact.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, architects, and consultants, to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI and data technologies, applying new knowledge to enhance Deloitte’s offerings and your own professional growth.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for data/AI and a strong commitment to ongoing learning in this rapidly evolving field.
