About the role

We are seeking a Back-End Developer to join our technical team to develop, maintain, and optimize our website infrastructure and ticket booking system. This role will play a key part in ensuring a seamless and reliable digital experience for both visitors and staff.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the gallery’s website and ticket booking system back-end.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable databases, APIs, and server infrastructure for both testing and production environments.
  • Integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways, inventory systems, and accounting platforms.
  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and data integrity across distributed systems.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with designers, technical leads, and management to implement new features and improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for systems, architecture, and workflows.
  • Provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting post-launch.


Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with database design and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
  • Solid understanding of API architecture, RESTful services, and server deployment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git).
  • Understanding of testing frameworks, multi-environment configurations, and scalable architectures.
  • Experience integrating payment systems (e.g., SEB, Stripe, PayPal).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, security, and code quality.
  • Fluent in either Lithuanian or English
