Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply domain expertise to translate complex business problems into analysis requirements
- Work with stakeholders to define analytical approaches and construct use cases
- Convert data to facilitate analysis through descriptive statistics, aggregations, and pivots
- Create effective communications tailored to audience needs using data visualization and metrics dashboards
- Proactively identify problems with significant business impact and facilitate analysis to identify opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand the value of analysis and derive actionable recommendations
- Converting complex data into meaningful insights that impact business decisions
- Working independently across multiple internal and external teams
- Managing project timelines and deliverables effectively
- Communicating complex analytical insights and business implications to stakeholders
- Building deep contextual and domain knowledge
- Ensuring data quality and building scalable analytical solutions
The position can be based in Amsterdam/London/Luxembourg/Barcelona and will work closely with scientists, statisticians and software engineers to tackle complex consumer analytics problems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- MBA
