We are looking for an experienced backend developer (Node.JS) with a strong focus on building stable, scalable, and maintainable systems for the long term.

About you

• At least 3 years of experience with backend development in Node.js
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and experience with unit testing (Vitest)
• Demonstrable experience designing and maintaining scalable cloud architectures on AWS
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and associated monitoring tools
• Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD best practices (such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)
• Proficient in setting up and maintaining REST APIs
• Experience with streaming and processing video files is a plus
• Willingness to work regularly on-site in Alkmaar

Working Method

• 1FTE = 40 hrs per week
• Preference is given to someone who is present at the Alkmaar office 4 days a week.
• Work at a client location is not expected on a regular basis (at most occasionally, if necessary).
