The Role

As a Senior Mobile Developer at Chrono Health, you will play a key role in crafting the core mobile experience for our AI-powered health companion. This is a unique opportunity for a product-driven, entrepreneurial engineer to build at the intersection of software, healthcare, and behavior change. You’ll work closely with the founding team to create elegant, high-performance mobile interfaces that empower people with chronic conditions to understand their health, track progress, and take meaningful action every day.

What will you do?

• Lead mobile development and help drive key technical decisions
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Ensure top-tier code quality, testing coverage, and performance optimization
• Identify and address technical debt through thoughtful refactoring
• Design and implement scalable, maintainable mobile solutions
• Manage app releases for both iOS and Android (App Store / Google Play)
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements for mobile development
• Step in where needed — we’re a startup, adaptability is key
• Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken

What makes you a great fit?

• Background: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience: 5+ years in software development, with strong mobile focus
• Expertise: Advanced skills in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Excellence in execution: Proven problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning abilities
• Team-ready: Strong experience with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows
• Production-ready: Track record of shipping and maintaining high-quality mobile apps
• Design-aware: Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices
• Tooling: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools (a plus)
• Security-aware: Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT)
• Bonus points: Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or health-related products
