Who are we looking for?

We are inviting a Big Data Consultant (m/f) to join our advanced analytics team. You will participate in leading projects for implementing data warehouses and business intelligence (BI) solutions for our clients. The role includes designing and establishing data piplines (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and close collaboration with clients to understand their needs and find effective solutions.

We are looking for an expert who combines technical excellence, analytical thinking, and project management skills. The ideal candidate has experience working with Big Data, a solid understanding of data modeling, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the energy sector is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead and develop projects for implementing data models and BI solutions for clients.
• Analyze user needs, conduct workshops with clients, and prepare documentation for Big Data solution implementation.
• Participate in the development and execution of data piplines, optimize existing data models, and respond to detected issues.
• Design and model solutions for clients.
• Support clients in optimizing data models and advise internal team members on data engineering projects.
• Plan data extraction, transformation, and loading processes (ETL/ELT).
• Design databases and data storage solutions for processing and visualization needs.
• Interpret and analyze data using mathematical and statistical methods.
• Prepare presentations and solution demonstrations, and conduct client training sessions.
• Create technical and functional documentation.

What do we expect?

• Education in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or related technical fields.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data modeling (Big Data, DWH, OLAP, Data Lake).
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (HBase, Iceberg, SQL, NoSQL, Python, PySpark, MLSpark).
• Experience with advanced analytics and data visualization (Power BI, SuperSet, Tableau).
• Experience with implementing IoT platforms and using statistical methods for data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Enjoy working with people, leading, mentoring, and public speaking.
• Knowledge of data and processes in the energy sector is an advantage.
