Resalta is a fast-growing energy and decarbonization business, part of the Aggreko Group, focused on delivering clean energy solutions across Central, Eastern, and Western Europe. We are in a critical scale-up phase, rapidly expanding our operations, teams, and markets. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition through innovative solar PV and energy efficiency projects.
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Leader for Europe to join our leadership team and lead the people strategy that will enable Resalta’s rapid growth and transformation across the region. This role is critical in scaling our people function, embedding a high-performance and inclusive culture, and driving organizational change while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit that defines us. You will play a key role in shaping our people agenda, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning HR initiatives with Resalta’s mission to create a greener, more sustainable future. This is a pan-European role and will involve travel in Europe 2 to 3 times per month.
What you’ll do:
- Design and deliver people strategies that enable rapid scaling of teams and leadership across multiple European markets.
- Lead cultural transformation to embed high-performance, accountability, and inclusivity as the organization evolves.
- Develop and adapt HR operations, policies, and practices that support growth while preserving entrepreneurial agility.
- Drive leadership development, talent acquisition, and performance management to build a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline.
- Collaborate across functions to break down silos and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing HR team equipped to support complex change and sustained growth.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience leading HR through rapid scaling in high-growth, multi-country organizations.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business growth and performance.
- Demonstrated success in leading cultural change and embedding behaviours aligned with Aggreko’s leadership principles.
- Courageous, inclusive, accountable, resilient, driven, and development-focused leadership style.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable, comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced change.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; business-level proficiency in English and Slovenian (or a related language). Proficiency in German is highly desirable.
