Main Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software that empowers our business and improves user experience.
- Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimise code for performance and scalability.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with other developers and teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements/Experience:
- 2+ years of experience developing in PHP, with a good understanding of common design patterns.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, MySQL, and Linux.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks (e.g. Zend, Symfony, Laravel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
Other skills that will be highly regarded
- Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Exposure to 3rd-party APIs (Twitter, Facebook, Google, AWS, Stripe, PayPal, Xero, etc.).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development processes
