Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas.

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the Privileged Access Management team, enabling secure and efficient access to critical systems and driving modern identity solutions that support the bank’s cloud transformation. The role sits within the Technology Data and Innovation division, driving the bank’s digital and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure and scalable access control solutions supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
• Develop automated infrastructure and configuration solutions using modern engineering tools.
• Build and maintain deployment pipelines that support virtual machine and container-based workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-teams to strengthen access controls and implement privileged access management principles in alignment with the division’s roadmap.
• Contribute to the modernization of Deutsche Bank’s technology environment by applying software development and cloud engineering best practices.

Skills

• Proven experience in software development using Python, Java, or Go.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and deployment models across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Working knowledge of source code management systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Good understanding of network communication, security protocols, and identity management concepts.
• Familiarity with modern software frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or Flask.
• Ability to work in agile, collaborative engineering environments with a focus on continuous improvement.
