Cybersecurity Specialist

Location: Romania | Full-Time

Are you passionate about defending systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and staying ahead of threats? We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing security team on a contract basis (1 year, with possible extension).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Monitor, review, and manage vulnerabilities and track remediation efforts
• Report on security posture, trends, and emerging threats
• Act as a technical expert for identifying vulnerabilities in web apps, networks, and systems
• Review and respond to security events via SIEM systems
• Build and fine-tune alerts for threat detection
• Conduct proactive threat research and automate detection processes
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on risk mitigation strategies

What You Bring:

• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity or related field
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments, threat response, and remediation
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux, application security, and OWASP Top 10
• Familiarity with enterprise systems: firewalls, databases, servers, routers, SIEM, EDR tools
• Solid understanding of cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Highly organized, adaptable, and dependable under pressure

Nice to Have:

• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Ruby, or Perl
• Experience with proof of concept exploits
• Relevant certifications: CEH, Security+, OSCP, GPEN, GCIH, GWAPT, OSWE, CCNA Cyber Ops
