We are seeking a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in Python development, particularly within quantitative environments, to work closely with senior quants. The role requires a blend of strong programming and training skills to foster effective collaboration and development. Key requirements include multiple years of experience in Python-based application development, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, along with a strong background in software engineering, including design, data structures, algorithms, and performance, scalability, and reliability. Proven experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda) and familiarity with serverless architectures is highly desirable. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automated testing (unit, integration) with tools such as PyTest, Unittest, or similar frameworks, as well as solid understanding and experience in CI/CD best practices, particularly in GitLab (with Jenkins/GitHub experience also considered). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to define and manage infrastructure in a safe, scalable manner is also required. Excellent ability to produce clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation, including API guides, architectural decisions, and operational procedures, is essential.
