Job Description
A company is modernizing its data platform to ensure a future-proof foundation. The current on-premise data lake, built on Cloudera-supported Apache technologies (Spark, NiFi, Airflow), needs to be upgraded to meet new compliance and regulatory requirements. They are seeking a qualified consultant to support the migration to a modern cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The target architecture will leverage containerization, managed services such as Dataproc, and infrastructure-as-code practices. As a consultant, you will be part of the team and contribute directly to delivery. This tech stack is currently managed exclusively within the DataOps DCA Tribe, making your role crucial for building a sustainable and compliant platform for the future.

- Apache Spark
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Database management and ETL processes
- Cloudera ecosystem
- Scala
Cloud Experience
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Dataproc
- Observability and monitoring tools
- GCP Event Hubs, Elasticsearch, Kibana
- Command-line interface (CLI) proficiency
- CI/CD pipelines
- Apache Airflow
- YAML, Linux, Windows
- Flexibility
- Strong English communication skills (Swedish is a plus)
- Delivery-oriented mindset
