Job Description:
As a PKI Architect ECU Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for developing secure PKI-based authentication and encryption mechanisms, supporting cybersecurity risk assessments, and guiding the organization toward compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement PKI architectures for ECU subscribers (onboard and offboard).
- Support and contribute to Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) reviews.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity controls and countermeasures for vehicle ECUs.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in global cybersecurity initiatives.
- Educate, mentor, and guide colleagues in cybersecurity and PKI solution development.
- Ensure compliance with international security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Mandatory / Primary Skills
Expertise in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Architecture:
Extensive experience as a PKI Architect, focusing on ECU subscriber systems with strong knowledge of both onboard and offboard PKI components.
Cybersecurity Concepts & Controls:
Proven experience implementing cybersecurity solutions and controls for vehicle ECUs across onboard and offboard environments.
Network Protocols:
Strong understanding of TLS, IPSec, Ethernet, and wireless communication protocols.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional working groups composed of people with diverse technical and cultural backgrounds.
C-ITS Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems and Services (C-ITS).
ISO 15118 Expertise:
- Working knowledge of ISO 15118-2 and ISO 15118-20 vehicle-to-grid communication standards.
Security Frameworks:
- Deep understanding of key cybersecurity and functional safety standards, including:
- ISO/SAE 21434 (Road Vehicle Cybersecurity)
- ISO/IEC 27000 (Information Security Management Systems)
- ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
- UNECE R155 (Cybersecurity Management System)
