Role: Full Stack Software Engineer (PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12+ months
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Hours: PST (Must be open to supporting UK Time zone on occasion)
Location: 100% Remote - (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer who can work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality solutions end-to-end. You will build features from scratch, collaborate across time zones, and contribute to both code quality and team processes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and ship small to mid-sized features as the sole engineer
- Take full ownership of assigned work from concept to delivery
- Help plan and scope new projects
- Review and provide feedback on Pull Requests
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code
- Create and maintain internal documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Must-Have Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Extensive experience with Laravel and Vue
- Solid understanding of SQL/MySQL
- Experience with Git/GitHub
- Capable of building solutions from scratch with minimal direction
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and code quality
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across time zones
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
- Thrives in autonomous environments
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Inertia.js
- Tailwind CSS
- AWS / Serverless infrastructure
- CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience integrating payment platforms such as PayPal, Braintree, Adyen, or Square
- Working in cross-functional product teams
