*Position Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist to join our business partner in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR generalist background, prior experience working with Chinese companies and working within a cross-cultural environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement to ensure alignment with Goertek's business objectives.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic HR support.
* Oversee end-to-end HR operations, including payroll, mobility, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee relations.
* Support talent development initiatives and implement HR programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and corporate HR standards.
* Facilitate effective communication between local teams and headquarters in China to ensure alignment on HR practices and corporate culture.
* Provide HR analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
* Lead or support HR projects such as organizational restructuring, compensation review, and process improvements.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum of 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
* Familiarity with local work pass rules, regulations and application processes
* Proven experience working with Chinese multinational companies or within a cross-cultural environment.
* Strong understanding of local labor legislation and HR best practices.
* Prefer excellent Mandarin and English communication skills, both written and verbal for communication with Chinese stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence across all organizational levels.
* Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a collaborative mindset.
*Prefer Singaporeans or Singapore PRs.
