This is a hands-on, collaborative position with ownership across the end-to-end design process—including research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iterative improvement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong user empathy, a data-informed mindset, and the ability to balance usability with business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders and developers to gather requirements and deliver effective, usable solutions.
  • Iterate on designs using user feedback, analytics, and usability testing results.
  • Maintain consistency across products by contributing to and evolving the design system.
  • Stay up to date with UX best practices, design trends, and accessibility standards.
  • Support additional UX/UI tasks as needed within the product development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong, demonstrable portfolio.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to clearly articulate design concepts and decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Front-end exposure (ideally Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with advanced prototyping tools such as InVision or Proto.io.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508).
  • Experience applying Design Thinking methodologies to complex problems.
