A growing law firm in Greenway Plaza seeks a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide administrative support daily to the Sr. HR Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining employee records, managing HR systems, and processing employee transactions while assisting with firm-wide HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
- Coordinate all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system setup, and exit procedures.
- Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, managing candidate tracking, and conducting initial screenings.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, reconciliations, and related reporting.
- Prepare and verify payroll data, track time-off requests, and resolve payroll discrepancies as needed.
- Support performance management activities by monitoring evaluations and maintaining related documentation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Respond promptly to employee and manager inquiries, providing accurate information and guidance.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and department initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, recordkeeping, and employment laws.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration. (ADP a plus)
- Experience in the legal field preferred but not required
