Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and supporting large-scale enterprise networks across multiple locations. This role focuses on WAN circuit migrations, Cisco routing, and network performance validation across a complex, multi-provider environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, configure, and maintain Cisco routing infrastructure across 100+ remote sites.
2. Lead or assist with WAN circuit migrations, coordinating with multiple internet service providers (ISPs).
3. Ensure network reliability and performance by conducting testing, validation, and troubleshooting during and after network changes.
4. Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to implement and optimize network solutions.
5. Document network designs, configurations, and change management procedures.
6. Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
7. Provide escalation support for complex network incidents.
8. Participate in network improvement initiatives and recommend upgrades or enhancements.

 Required Qualifications:

1. 3-7 years of professional experience in network engineering or a related role.
2. Strong Cisco routing and switching experience (Cisco IOS/IOS-XE).
3. Demonstrated experience managing WAN circuits and working with multiple internet providers.
4. Experience supporting networks across 100+ distributed locations.
5. Proficiency in testing, validating, and troubleshooting network connectivity.
6. Familiarity with enterprise-grade monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetFlow, Wireshark).
7. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies.

 
Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience with Cisco DMVPN technologies.
2. CCNA or CCNP certification (or equivalent hands-on experience).
3. Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions and/or cloud networking.
