The Opportunity
Our client, a dynamic and progressive Financial Services organisation, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join their Sydney Head Office in Double Bay.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career to build hands-on experience across all key HR functions — including onboarding, HR systems, employee lifecycle management, and recruitment support. You’ll work closely with the Head of HR and the broader team, playing a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience and supporting a high-performing, people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage onboarding and induction for new employees, working with Office Managers and IT
- Coordinate learning and development sessions and track completion
- Support the Senior HR Manager with performance appraisals, remuneration reviews, and annual HR processes
- Manage employee benefits, offboarding, and probation reviews
- Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Manage learning, background check and other HR platforms; identify opportunities for system improvements
- Provide day-to-day support for HR system enquiries and process enhancements
- Support recruitment activity including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Provide general administrative support across the HR team, including invoice coding and maintaining internal lists
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR administration or shared services role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Confident using HRIS platforms and advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of National Employment Standards and Fair Work Act obligations.
- A team player who communicates clearly, collaborates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
