The Opportunity

Our client, a dynamic and progressive Financial Services organisation, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join their Sydney Head Office in Double Bay.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career to build hands-on experience across all key HR functions — including onboarding, HR systems, employee lifecycle management, and recruitment support. You’ll work closely with the Head of HR and the broader team, playing a key role in delivering a seamless employee experience and supporting a high-performing, people-first culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding and induction for new employees, working with Office Managers and IT
  • Coordinate learning and development sessions and track completion
  • Support the Senior HR Manager with performance appraisals, remuneration reviews, and annual HR processes
  • Manage employee benefits, offboarding, and probation reviews
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Manage learning, background check and other HR platforms; identify opportunities for system improvements
  • Provide day-to-day support for HR system enquiries and process enhancements
  • Support recruitment activity including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
  • Provide general administrative support across the HR team, including invoice coding and maintaining internal lists


About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Psychology or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR administration or shared services role.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Confident using HRIS platforms and advanced Excel skills.
  • Understanding of National Employment Standards and Fair Work Act obligations.
  • A team player who communicates clearly, collaborates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates on a WHV may be considered for this role
