Software Engineer (Staff / Senior) – Internal Developer Platform

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Staff level, or Senior with strong potential) to help evolve our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) — a core part of our developer experience ecosystem. This role is about building engineering-facing capabilities that empower product teams, not infrastructure operations.

You’ll join a multi-team Platform Engineering group, collaborating across Platform, Product, and Architecture functions. Your goal: shape cohesive, low-friction golden paths that accelerate delivery and improve developer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and integrate platform capabilities: Develop and connect APIs, services, tools, UIs, and CLIs into seamless developer experiences.
  • Drive adoption: Use telemetry, feedback, and KPIs to measure and improve impact.
  • Enable scale: Implement versioning, rollout, and deprecation policies for internal products.
  • Mentor and influence: Raise the bar on developer experience, product thinking, and engineering practices.
  • Collaborate and align: Shape technical direction with architects and product partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience building engineering tools (CLIs, portals, SDKs, UIs) used by multiple teams at scale (50+ engineers).
  • Strong software engineering skills in Python; familiarity with .NET and React.
  • A product mindset — focused on adoption, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience mentoring or leading cross-team initiatives.
  • Comfortable using and guiding others in AI-assisted development.
  • Bonus: experience with Backstage, Kubernetes/Helm, Datadog, or IAM integration.

Experience at Scale

You’ve successfully managed at least two of the following:

  • Operating golden paths and driving adoption across teams
  • Using telemetry and KPIs to guide platform evolution
  • Managing versioned internal products with safe rollout and change management

The Offer:

  • Full-time or freelance contract
  • Contribute to the international growth of a privately owned, family-run company.
  • Join a human, entrepreneurial journey inside a stable and well-established group.
  • Work in a supportive environment designed to help you do your best.
  • Thrive in a culture built on talent, trust, clear values, and autonomy.
  • Advance your career through internal mobility and targeted development opportunities.
  • Enjoy hybrid flexibility — work remotely up to 50% for better work–life balance.
  • Additional position-specific benefits tailored to the role.
