Project Manager - Data & Analytics
Start: early January
Duration: 6 months (extensions likely)
Location: 2-3 days in central Brussels
Pay: B2B day rate, 600-650 EUR
*this is an English speaking project with level C plus in Dutch and B2 French*
Purpose:
As a Project Manager, your job is to deliver projects that build or improve data platforms, data assets, and analytics tools that help teams use data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project delivery (scope, planning, budget, timeline, quality).
Manage data and analytics projects such as:
- Building data platforms (e.g., Azure)
- Ingesting and structuring data
- Reporting, dashboards, and AI/ML use cases
Coordinate between business and IT teams.
Track and mitigate project risks and issues.
Communicate progress and decisions to stakeholders.
Facilitate project meetings and steering committees.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience delivering complex Data & Analytics projects, including at least one full SAP and one Azure project.
- Strong IT background, comfortable with technical concepts and integration work.
- Agile / SAFe experience – able to work in iterative, collaborative ways.
- Excellent communication skills – can present to executives and translate technical work into business terms.
- Budget management – experience managing large (€1M+) budgets.
- Stakeholder management – confident working with diverse teams and senior management.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of Azure data stack, SAP BW4, or similar systems.
- Understanding of business domains such as transport, HR, finance, or marketing.
