This Position Reports To
PEQR Manager
The goal of the Embedded Software Developer is to develop embedded software for modern electrical drives. To define and develop new control algorithms for product features and refine customer needs as promised .
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the ABB Motion High Power Division in Jüri.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Developing new software module specifications
- Implementing new product features with C/C++ language
- Defining the architectural concepts for the new generation platform software
- Guiding team members in implementation of the required deliverables
- Deliver high quality and efficient code according to best coding practices and ABB coding conventions
- Following the Scaled Agile (SAFe) method in global software development process
- A university degree in a relevant field: software, automation, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience in embedded software development using C/C++
- Experience in the design of embedded systems
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and guide junior team members
- You are at ease communicating in English (spoken and written)
