You will join Mobile Networks, a business group delivering mobile network products, deployment, technical support services, and network management solutions. Focused on leading technologies like 5G, ORAN, and vRAN, the group provides a complete portfolio for customers building mobile access networks.
You will be part of a Development Unit of over 1,300 people across 11 R&D teams worldwide. Within your Team in Timisoara, you will work with 5–9 members, collaborating in an agile, cross-functional environment.

Position: Junior Software Engineer trainee
Duration: Part-time 4h/6h /day
Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Writing the program codes and producing specifications
- Working closely with analysts, designers and test engineers
- Reviewing current systems, presenting ideas for system improvements, including refactoring
- Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
- You will have the opportunity to work in a young team, eager to learn, experience and become stronger
- We are working in agile way, focusing on most important and relevant features
Must have:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s university degree in computer science or electronics
- Basic knowledge of C++, design patterns, software quality metrics, static code analyzer, black-box testing and white-box testing for state machines
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies, test-driven development, continuous integration, code coverage
- Fluent in English (both in written and oral communication)
- Searches to learn continuously and fast, in an ambitious and resourceful way
- Passion, positive attitude, engagement and desire to take over challenging assignments as part of a team, making things work
- Willing to contribute with creative, out-of-the-box solutions, to problems arising in a dynamic environment, under high market pressure
- Quick learner and adaptive to change in directions
