Front-End Developer (React)

As a pivotal member of Vacayou's platform team, the Front-End Developer will be responsible for the initiation, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects. This role involves building reliable, high-performance user experiences that consistently adhere to industry best practices. The successful candidate will produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code.  UX/UI Experience a plus.

Knowledge and demonstrated application of best practices in:

• Front-end development (React, Next.js)
• Senior-level TypeScript with strong type system design and advanced patterns
• Accessibility and front-end performance
• UX and design principles
• Modern architectural approaches, including Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, and Layered Architecture patterns

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with:

• Front-end JavaScript frameworks, specifically Next.js
• Modern UI frameworks, specifically MUI
• Translating designs to front-end interfaces using prototyping software, such as Sketch, Invision, Figma, or Zeplin,
• Comfortable with AI tools such as Bolt, Claude, and others.
• Unit testing
• Applying DDD and clean architecture principles in front-end codebases
• Architecting scalable, maintainable component structures and domain logic separation

Experience:

• 3+ years of front-end web development experience
• 5+ years of web application and software development experience
• UX/UI experience and design a plus.
• Demonstrated excellence in developing interfaces and tools that meet or exceed expectations
