Your Role And Responsibilities

ABB Library team is looking for a Senior .NET developer willing to join us and work on improving existing user tools and introducing new ones to help the business. We are customer oriented, focused on quality and maximizing business value. We build a product, not run a project. Continuous improvement is the way we work. We are not afraid of fresh ideas if we think they will help us to deliver better software for our users.

The work model for the role is: #Li-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design, develop, and release cross technology software solutions. Contribute throughout the product development lifecycle, as this team is fully responsible for product development and delivery.
• Actively follow and apply current trends in software development best practices, technologies, and ABB standards to build high quality products.
• Collaborate with Software Architects to ensure development work aligns with technical drivers.
• Work in a cross-discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team’s activities.
• Contribute to the team culture of quality and high performance in daily team R&D activities. Mentor junior level team members and peer review other team members’ work to ensure high product quality levels.

Qualifications For The Role

• 5+ years of experience in software development in .NET
• C#, .NET
• Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database
• Basic knowledge of Azure platform
• ReactJS or willingness to learn it based on experience in similar technology
• Customer and quality focus
• Communicative English and Polish
  
  

Nice to have:

• Apache SOLR or willingness to learn it based on experience in similar technology
• Docker/K8s
• Azure AI services
• TypeScript
• Experience in working in SCRUM environment
