Project Manager

This is a 6/4 rotational role based in turkey. Accommodation and travel provided, 2 days travel paid, rate up to $900 USD per day worked. Initial contract until the end of March with a possible view to extend.

Technical Scope

• Promote and enforce adherence to safe work systems and practices to mitigate risks for personnel and contractors.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, industry practices, applicable regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Contribute to project goals and departmental objectives by participating in project meetings and delivering routine progress/status updates to Project Support Specialists (e.g., project planner, document controller).
• Develop and maintain accurate asset identification and criticality assessments, supported by associated documentation for system components.
• Update and manage the work breakdown structure (WBS) to reflect all planned activities for the relevant discipline.
• Prepare both high-level and detailed scopes of work (SOW) for inspection, maintenance, repair, implementation, modification, and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to avoid conflicts between operational activities and project schedules.
• Support budgeting and procurement processes in collaboration with the Supply Chain Specialist.
• Generate and issue material and service requisitions with the necessary detailed technical specifications.
• Address quality and safety matters and escalate issues promptly to the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Specialist.
• Manage engineering-related issues via technical queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive project reports in line with performance metrics; organize project records, documentation, and certifications by assisting Project Support Specialists with uploads into the organization’s CMMS.
• Review documentation, including OEM product information bulletins (PIB), to ensure currency and accuracy.

Role Description

• Reporting line: Reports directly to two client-side Project Managers.
• Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and align Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) leading reactivation activities onboard drillships.
• Ensure effective organization and follow-up of reactivation tasks across multiple teams.
• Act as a bridge between client project managers and SMEs to maintain smooth execution.
• Initial assignment: First duty station expected onboard a drillship in the Eastern Mediterranean.
• Mobility: Location will change in line with vessel movements; future assignments are most likely in Türkiye (southern coastal areas and Black Sea region).
