About this role
Redesign Health is seeking a Global Development Lead for Southeast Asia to drive our international expansion. We need someone with significant experience in venture capital or private equity, ideally with a strong understanding of the healthcare technology landscape. You should be comfortable engaging with LPs, attracting founders, and assessing early-stage ventures. Bonus points if you have prior experience working with US-based firms or have made angel investments in startups.

What you'll do:


  • Lead fundraising efforts in Southeast Asia, engaging with Limited Partners (LPs) to secure capital for our fund.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with hospital systems, clinics, insurance players, and founders to build a robust healthcare ecosystem.
  • Identify and attract promising founders, assessing their ventures and providing initial guidance.
  • Represent Redesign Health in the market, independently conducting meetings and fostering partnerships.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of our international presence, adapting our venture builder model to local market nuances.
  • Collaborate with the global development team to ensure alignment and leverage Redesign Health's broader capabilities.
Work experience
  • 6 -​ 10 years of experience in either an investing role (PE or VC) OR in a founder / operator role (Ideal candidates will have a mix of both)
  • Investing experience in either PE or VC with significant experience working with broad range of LPs (Limited Partners)
  • Experience as a founder that raised venture / institutional capital (Seed -​ Series B) and is familiar with process,​ counterparties,​ and best-​practices
  • Significant knowledge or interest in healthcare investing and the healthcare startup landscape in southeast asia
  • Experience with core fundraising activities i.​e.​,​ negotiating term sheets,​ coordinating capital raises,​ working with placement agents
  • Possesses deep relationships with LPs investing in south-​east asia (Singapore,​ Malaysia,​ and Indonesia are the priorities)
  • Bachelors from a Top US undergrad program (or Singapore equivalent)
  • MBA from a M9 program (Harvard,​ Stanford,​ Kellogg,​ etc.​)
