Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Exercise and promote safety.
  • Operate within a Cisco environment handling Cisco routers, switches, Chassis, etc.
  • Install, configure, and maintain organizational network including Cisco switches and routers.
  • Familiar with Fortinet firewalls, routing, tunnels, etc.
  • Familiar with Aruba Wireless Access – Aruba Central
  • Manages Windows networking environment, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory domain controllers.
  • Familiar with systems administration for data center server hardware and storage equipment provisioning.
  • Familiar with Nutanix infrastructure server assets, virtual machine performance, host resource management, and the overall environment.
  • Assists with Tier 3 service desk support cases for all company resources, including break/fix support and application upgrades.
  • Perform system backups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications

  • Network infrastructure: 5 years
  • System administration: 3 years
  • Azure: 3 years
  • Nutanix or virtualization: 3 years
  • Disaster recovery: 3 years
  • BS in Information Systems or High School Diploma with current certifications in Networking disciplines
  • 5 years’ experience in Networking and Systems; must be familiar with Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA or CCNP, Microsoft MCSE

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Communication Skills: Good oral and written communication skills required; must speak, read and write English
  • Mathematical Skills: Good understanding of basic and algebraic mathematical skills (high school level or higher)
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

Working Conditions

  • Schedule: 1st shift (some flexibility required for occasional nights and/or weekends)

Safety
