At CSI Leasing UK, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to a high-performing, engaged workplace. You will work closely with the Head of HR to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations, while also having the chance to shape new initiatives and improve existing processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Employee Lifecycle Management:

Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations

Coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, and manage pre-employment checks

Assist with payroll processing and data verification

Manage HR Performance and learning systems


  • Operational HR Support:

Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR

Act as first point of contact for HR queries

Identify and implement improvements to HR practices

Contribute to new HR initiatives


  • Employee Engagement & Communication:

Manage our employee benefits and communication platform

Support employee engagement surveys and action plans


  • Training & Development:

Organise onboarding and training sessions

Liaise with external partners (recruitment agencies, training consultants)


  • General HR Administration:

Maintain HR policies and handbooks

Support performance management via RACE platform

Generate HR reports and analytics


What We’re Looking For


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR support or administration
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Part-time will be considered

Conditions

  • Salary: We offer a competitive salary.
  • Holiday Allowance: 25 days (increasing to 30 based on length of service) plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
  • Benefits: We offer many other benefits including Private Medical Insurance
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5hrs
  • Location: Sheffield
