We are searching for a freelance Senior Azure Data Engineer to strengthen our project team at one of our clients.

YOUR JOB
As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Seeing the bigger picture and not just solving 1 specific problem for 1 specific business.
- Understanding where an organization wants to go, which goals they have set and creating an architecture for getting there.
- Working proactively and designing with the future in mind.
- Mastering the art of translating solutions into plain and straightforward language.
YOUR SKILLS
- You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in computer science or equivalent.
- You have experience with different data consumption techniques from traditional to more advanced analytics and AI perspective (Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning,…).
- You have at least 5 years of experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
- You have experience with Azure Data Factory.
- You are fluent in SQL, Python, Spark and DAX.
- You have experience with data modelling techniques (Star Schemas, Dimensional Modelling, Kimball).
- You communicate clearly in Dutch and English.
