We are hiring for a Senior Solution Designer - (EL1 Level) for one of our Clients.

Role: Senior Solution Designer - (EL1 Level)

Location of work: Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide (Hybrid)

Contract duration: 12 months + 24 months extension

Security clearance: NV1 security clearance

Key duties and responsibilities

Conduct detailed analysis of the landscape and provide forthright informative input into the overall solution based on one's own experience and input from key stakeholders.

Develop or configure and deploy software in accordance with industry best practices and policies within the agency.

Manage stakeholder interactions and provide a persuasive argument for the solution design and development.

Manage work under pressure and completing tasks from limited resources and directions.

Independently think and find innovative solutions throughout all development and support phases.

Interact with non -technical staff across a varied landscape of stakeholders including Senior Executives.

Document Key decisions, designs and technical outputs for future re-use and training purposes.

Support sharing of knowledge and enabling uplift of knowledge within immediate team and business functions as required.

Criteria

Essential criteria

1.Minimum 5 years of experience in undertaking technical implementations of ICT Infrastructure works involving both on-prem and cloud domains.

2.Minimum 5 years of experience in business and systems analysis in a large organisation with sound understanding of platforms, cloud architecture, APIs, data flows, and infrastructure.

3.Knowledge and experience in providing solution architecture and technology consultancy services in large complex information technology environment.

4.Proven Track record of delivering trainings and knowledge sharing sessions to build team capability and enhance performance.

Desirable criteria

1.Tertiary qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related discipline.

2.Experience and/or certification in enterprise and solutions architecture (e.g. AWS, Azure, TOGAF).

3.Good understanding in integration development and design with APIs, microservices and a strong understanding of backend and full stack development principles.

4.Experience in continuous quality improvement activities.
