HR Administrator – Compliance, Visa & Onboarding Support (Contractor)
📍 Location: Port Melbourne, VIC
🕒 Schedule: Part-Time (3–4 Days/Week, School Hours Preferred)
📅 Contract Duration: Immediate start through to 19 December 2025
About the Role
OneStep Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator (Contractor) to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time work and wanting to contribute to meaningful HR initiatives during a busy ramp-up period.
You’ll play a key role in supporting compliance, policy development, visa coordination, and onboarding design including building out SharePoint resources to streamline the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and company standards
- Coordinate visa applications and renewals, liaising with migration agents and government bodies
- Design and implement onboarding workflows and resources using SharePoint
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS data integrity
- Assist with general HR administration and reporting
About You
- Experience in HR administration, ideally with exposure to compliance and immigration
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Australian workplace legislation and visa categories (e.g., TSS, Graduate, WHV)
- Comfortable working with SharePoint and Microsoft Office
- Organised, collaborative, and able to work independently
