The IT department of a major organization based in Brussels is carrying out large-scale SAP transformation projects across various domains such as mobility, data, and enterprise solutions.
Within the development and integration team covering technologies like ABAP OO, UI5, PI/PO, Fiori, Webdynpro, the client is looking for a technical architect with solid expertise in UI5 and S/4HANA.
Technical Skills
- SAP UI5 / FIORI – hands-on experience (≥5 years)
- ABAP OO – hands-on experience (≥5 years)
- Team management (10+ people) & Agile project leadership (≥2 years)
- Experience as Scrum Master (≥1 project)
- Knowledge of S/4HANA environment (≥1 project)
- Experience with CI/CD and GIT (≥2 years)
- Experience using BTP and Restful ABAP Programming (≥1 project)
- Strong understanding of complex IT environments and business challenges
- Ability to integrate easily into existing teams
- Excellent communication, structured mindset, and professional attitude
- Commitment and reliability throughout the project lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of 12 developers using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Design and propose a robust application architecture
- Actively participate in development and unit testing (ABAP, S/4, UI5)
- Oversee release management and hypercare follow-up
- Act as a bridge between functional and technical teams, ensuring smooth collaboration
- SAP UI5 / FIORI – hands-on experience (≥5 years)
- ABAP OO – hands-on experience (≥5 years)
- Team management (10+ people) & Agile project leadership (≥2 years)
- Scrum Master experience (≥1 project)
- Knowledge of S/4HANA (≥1 project)
- CI/CD and GIT (≥2 years)
- BTP and Restful ABAP Programming (≥1 project)
- Languages: French and/or Dutch required – understanding of both is an asset
